The build-up of mineral deposits and the temperature of the heating plate on the DreamStation Go Heated Humidifier can cause the Tank Bottom to wear out faster than the Tank Lid. To maximize the life of the Tank Lid, you can wash it daily with mild soap and warm water and once weekly in the dishwasher.
The Tank Bottom is made for the and is not compatible with any other product. The Tank Bottom should last around one year. Since the Tank Bottom doesn’t last as long as the Tank Lid, though, it helps to separate the two parts so you won’t have to purchase an entire humidifier tank when the Tank Bottom needs replacing.

Cleaning Tips
If cleaning by hand, please follow these steps:
- Rinse the tank with water, and clean using mild fragrance-free soap.
- If mineral deposits have formed in the bottom of the tank, it is safe to use vinegar to remove these deposits.
- When finished, allow the chamber to air dry.
The Tank Bottom IS Dishwasher Safe
While the humidifier bottom is dishwasher safe, the lid is not. Do not place the lid in the dishwasher, as this could lead to damage or loss of the humidifier chamber. It's recommended to clean the humidifier lid by hand.
Dishwasher Cleaning
Dishwasher cleaning should be limited to only one cleaning weekly. Regular washing in the dishwasher will reduce the tank's lifespan and should be avoided.
